LOCATION: 300 Industry Drive, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15275

TITLE: Product Manager

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES: Maximize the value of the teams product portfolio and data science generated intelligence for sales teams across the company;

  • Create, refine and delete items in the product backlog in order to keep it organized, relevant and progressively elaborated;
  • Diligently communicate with product management and stakeholders to ensure their requests are reflected within the product backlog in succinct and plain language;
  • Intimately analyze and document the business current state of operations, opportunity gaps, readiness for change and ability to adopt enhanced capabilities and new features;
  • Own priority of the team level product backlog with some priorities inherited from the parent program roadmap and release plan;
  • Serve as primary link between Scrum team (Salesforce.com engineers and quality assurance engineers) and customers (sales operations stakeholders);
  • Validate product backlog items are complete by defining acceptance criteria and ensuring criteria is met by the Scrum team;
  • Ensure there is enough ready product backlog items to utilize engineers.

REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM Education Requirement:

  • Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration Computer Engineering, or a related field of study.

MINIMUM Experience Requirement:

  • 5 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering Project Management or a related occupation.

Alternative Education and Experience Requirement:

  • Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study plus 3 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering Project Management or a related occupation.

Required knowledge or experience with:

  • Agile team, Scrum (2 years);
  • Atlassian tools;
  • Salesforce.com administration
  • Requirements gathering
